Hello Chiviqui!

Grateful to those who have made it possible, it is now a reality: our new headquarters is currently under construction!

Thanks to the retirement fund of the missionaries Iris Prieto and Glahecer Baque, and the donations of different brothers and sisters in the United States, Puerto Rico and Ecuador, the construction of the first stage of the project has began. This space will be the home of the Baque Prieto family, and it will also serve as a meeting place for the Base Ecclesial Communities. The roof, windows and doors need to be completed at this stage of construction, so that will be available for use. In a second stage, we plan to continue with the construction of a house that will serve other missionaries who need it.

Started in November 2020 (on pandemic times!), the work so far includes the foundation, as well as the construction of the septic tank and the cistern.

Chiviqui is an area belonging to the parish of Cumbaya in Quito.
